With its emphasis on affordability and performance, the newest member of the Mustang family appears to be a pointed attempt by Ford to take on Tesla. One thing that Ford has apparently learned from Tesla is that boring electric vehicles don鈥檛 sell. The Mustang Mach-E GT Performance models will get an estimated 459 horsepower, Ford claims, from two electric motors, one powering the back wheels, the other powering the front. In fact, if I didn't know better I'd think the interior is from a Tesla. I saw in another post the door handles are quite unique. They are hidden on the top of the door. I think the Tesla interior is way better than a Mustangs. I worry about the Ford software though as they haven't proven they can build good infotainment. Maybe they should have designed something a little less polarizing than the Tesla interior though. I think this will sell way better than the E-Tron and ID cross given its price points and performance. Very disappointing they are whoring the legendary Mustang name. I used a local shop called Exhaust Specialties & Brakes (ES&B). 300 plus the hassle of installing an exhaust system on my back rather than on a lift. Also, I was worried that any issues I ran into, like poor fitment or contact with the transmission or tunnel, and I would be in a world of hurt. 500. He had installed the exhaust tips with a set of FlowMaster mufflers and and H-Pipe. The car sounded WAY better than the old, rusty single-exhaust so I have to say I'm a happy customer. Second, I finally decided to go ahead and put on rocker mouldings as it came from the factory with. I drilled out the original clip-mount holes and riveted on a new set of plastic clips and snapped them back on. I think they look fine
