CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
The procedure for the removal / installation of the 3.0L V6 engine oil pan has been revised. The old procedure required the removal of the A/C
compressor and alternator. The new procedure requires the A/C compressor and alternator to be tied away from the engine.
Action:
In the event it becomes necessary to remove / install the engine oil pan, follow the revised Repair Procedure outlined below.
