Like the all-new XF and F-PACE, the XE uses a torque on-demand AWD system featuring a transfer case with a multi-plate wet clutch pack and a chain drive to the front propshaft. And it didn't. The new XE uses RC 5754 - a proprietary aluminum alloy made predominantly from recycled material, delivering savings in overall CO2 emissions and helping to reduce demand for primary aluminum, ultimately saving energy. Riveting and bonding the lightweight body structure of the Jaguar XE consumes less energy than traditional spot welding. The new Jaguar XE features a sophisticated double wishbone front suspension.
