CARBON CERAMIC BRAKE CALIPERS TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN Reference Number(s): JTB00363, Date of Issue:  June 20, 2014 AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE F-TYPE (X152) Model Year: 2015 Onwards VIN: K10868 Onwards Engine: V6 S/C 3.0L Petrol V8 S/C 5.0L Petrol With: Carbon Ceramic Brakes MARKETS All CONDITION SUMMARY Situation: This bulletin is for information only to inform the dealer network, the yellow paint used on F-Type carbon ceramic front brake calipers can be subject to discoloration at extremely high temperatures. Cause: Extreme temperatures caused through closed road usage. Action: Should a customer express concern, follow the Service Instruction outlined below. Please be aware that the yellow paint used on F-Type carbon ceramic front brake calipers can be subject to discolouration at extremely high temperatures. These temperatures will not be seen in normal road use unless there is a genuine fault with the caliper (eg seizing). If there is a fault with a caliper, it is likely that only the left or right caliper will be discolored. In this case you should submit a separate warranty claim. 2. Pantone #115 is your color reference as to what is acceptable for the brake caliper paint finish. Anything darker than Pantone #115 means extremely high temperatures have been experienced, which are likely a result of a result of closed road, track, and/or motor sport use. NOTE: Information only.
