Jaguar announced today a new version of its I-Pace electric SUV with less power and a cheaper price. In the US, Jaguar has yet to release the price of the new version of the I-Pace, but it should be significantly cheaper than the current base price of $69,850 before incentives. Besides these updates, Jaguar has also added a new Cabin Air Purification system inside all variants of the new E-Pace R-Dynamic Black version. The fully electrically powered performance SUV is available with the new Pivi Pro infotainment system, Cabin Air Ionisation with PM2.5 filter and the ClearSight digital rear-view mirror. Pivi Pro uses a dual-sim modem to ensure over-the-air software updates don’t interrupt music streaming, and an independent power source ensures it boots up quickly. Later this year, all E-Paces will receive an Over the Air (OTA) software update that enables a wireless connection between smartphones and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The air purifier system uses ultra-fine filters to get rid of pollutants inside the car down to 2.5 microns in size.
