As part of the SUV family and entry point into the Jaguar brand, the brand’s award-winning, compact SUV continues to focus on performance, technology and design. The 2023 model year Jaguar E-PACE introduces a streamlined single-derivative offer with a gasoline powertrain including a 2.0L Ingenium turbocharged four-cylinder engine.

Every vehicle in the 2023 Jaguar lineup is equipped with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ (8). Owners can interact with key mobile apps, such as Spotify®, WhatsApp® and Waze®, through the vehicle’s touchscreen in a manner similar to a smartphone.
The E-Pace offers up to 296 horsepower with the hotter turbocharged four-cylinder, but we think the standard engine's 246 ponies are more than adequate. We're also not convinced this Jaguar lives up to its loftier price points, so we'd harness the value offered on the lower SE model.

The 2023 model year Jaguar E-PACE introduces a streamlined single-derivative offer with a gasoline powertrain including a 2.0L Ingenium turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
For 2023, the popular F-Pace remains a focus for the brand, but updates have also arrived for the smaller E-Pace and the all-electric I-Pace. Read on to see what's new for Jaguar's SUV lineup for the 2023 model year.
Jaguar makes the 2021 E-Pace in three trim levels: E-Pace, SE, and 300 Sport. All three come standard with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. The engine makes 246 horsepower in the E-Pace and SE, and the addition of an electric motor boosts horsepower to 296 in the 300 Sport.

The 2020 Jaguar E-Pace is a small luxury SUV offered in five trims: base, SE, S R-Dynamic, SE R-Dynamic and HSE R-Dynamic. The base and SE models are powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine — Jaguar refers to this powertrain as the P250 (246 horsepower, 269 lb-ft of torque).
With its muscular bodywork and unmistakable branding, the E-Pace is the crossover equivalent of the British automaker's F-type sports car, emanating performance vibes and promoting an upscale lifestyle. What the 2020 E-Pace lacks in refinement and value, it makes up for with engaging driving characteristics and luxurious features.
The E-Pace makes use of trademark Jaguar styling cues—the J-shaped headlights, curvy side profile, and F-Type style rear end—to cut a handsome profile for a city-sized SUV. Viewed from the side or rear quarter, it’s clear where material was cut away to make this small SUV fit a certain footprint, resulting in a stubby rear end and tall front.

Only 2019 and later model year Jaguar XE vehicles are compatible with CarPlay. If you still can’t connect CarPlay in your Jaguar XE, then you should get your vehicle checked by an authorized Jaguar dealer.
Jaguar continues to deliver on the high expectations of customers as the 2023 model year raises the technological bar for the brand as the first Jaguar vehicle with Amazon Alexa connectivity that delivers a whole suite of enhancements to its infotainment interface. Every 2023 I-PACE now features Wireless Device Charging and Amazon Alexa (3).
More than 600 cars currently support CarPlay, with support from almost every major car manufacturer. Apple has a fairly comprehensive Apple Car vehicle list showing which automakers support CarPlay, and on which cars. However, it's always worth double checking CarPlay support for any car you're interesting in buying.

The E-Pace shares a platform and mechanicals with the Land Rover Discovery Sport and the Range Rover Evoque rather than riding on a modified version of the larger F-Pace's chassis. Jaguar is known for sultry exterior styling—unfortunately, the E-Pace's stubby proportions can look awkward from some angles.
