What are the available engine options for the Jaguar XF?


  1. Diesel Engines:
    • 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel (Ingenium) - This is the most fuel-efficient engine option for the XF, producing 180 horsepower and 318 lb-ft of torque. It's available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.
    • 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged diesel V6 - This engine produces 296 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, making it one of the most powerful diesel engines in its class. It's only available in all-wheel drive configuration.
  2. Gasoline Engines:
    • 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline (Ingenium) - This engine produces 247 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. It's available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.
    • 3.0-liter supercharged gasoline V6 - This engine produces 380 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. It's only available in all-wheel drive configuration.
  3. Hybrid Engine:
    • 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline + electric motor (PHEV) - This plug-in hybrid powertrain combines a 296 horsepower gasoline engine with a 114 horsepower electric motor, producing a total system output of 398 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque. It's available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.
All engine options come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and feature stop-start technology to improve fuel efficiency.
