Luggage Compartment Lid Power Strut Hinge - Strut Mount Broken



AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

Model Year: 2010 - 2012



CONDITION SUMMARY:



Situation:



The luggage compartment lid may not drive fully open. This may be caused by the right-hand strut mount on the luggage compartment lid hinge



being broken or sheared off.



Action:



In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to replace the right-hand luggage compartment lid



power strut.

REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LID POWER STRUT



1. Refer to Workshop Manual, section 501-03: Body Closures, and replace the luggage compartment lid right-hand (RH) hinge.
